Rangers win First Round GLC Tournament Game

The Lakewood Rangers Boys Basketball Team (5-6) opened up Great Lakes Conference Tournament play with a decisive 56-40 victory over Elyria Catholic.  The Rangers stormed out to a 27-0 lead behind strong pressing team defense, and early offensive contributions from Pete Patsouras (19), Riley Ulintz (14) and Ayden Wacker (13).  Wacker’s return to the lineup

In this unprecedented basketball season, our Lakewood Rangers have endured their share of postponements, quick schedule changes and overall uncertainty.  After his weekend though, having lost a bitterly contested game to Valley Forge in overtime, followed up by a loss to state powerhouse Mentor, the season starts anew with the first ever GLC Basketball Tournament.
